Pamela Jeanine Moses is a tireless organizer and beacon of hope for marginalized communities across Tennessee. Her commitment to unity and equity has been the driving force behind her extensive activism and political engagement. Moses previously served as the ex-officio District 7 Shelby County Democratic Executive Committee Chairwoman, and she champions progressive policies and fights for equitable representation. Her dedication to justice extends beyond activism into the realm of politics, where she tirelessly advocates for systemic change. As the North Memphis Ambassador for Change of the United States Human Rights Network, Pamela amplifies the voices of those often silenced in political discourse.

Born into a family deeply rooted in civil rights activism and immigrant heritage, Moses was instilled with a fervent dedication to equality and fairness from an early age. Her academic journey began at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where she pursued studies in political science before earning a Masters in Intercultural Studies from Union University. As a mother, musician, and advocate for human rights, Moses channels her life experiences and unwavering convictions into concrete action to promote true change in Tennessee. Spearheading initiatives like the #DONTTOUCHMYVOTE campaign, aimed at dismantling barriers to voting rights for African Americans. Through strategic partnerships with organizations such as The National Council, Civic Nation, FreeHearts, Black Voters Matter, and VoteTogether, she empowers citizens to combat voter suppression. Pamela’s activism is not confined to traditional methods; she seamlessly integrates art and music as powerful tools for societal transformation. Known as an “Artivist” she coined the word and uses art to emphasize the impact of creative expressions in creating change. Her innovative approach to activism is through art and music. Despite facing adversity, including unjust legal persecution and incarceration, Pamela remains steadfast in her pursuit of justice. Through her pioneering label and publishing company, Let It B Known Records, she uplifts marginalized artists and challenges prevailing narratives. As a candidate for United States Senator, Pamela “P.” Moses continues to lead the charge for voting rights reform and equitable representation for formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted individuals. Her unwavering commitment to uplifting communities and confronting systemic injustices ensures that her legacy will endure as a beacon of hope, inspiring generations to come. Additionally, in 2018, she founded Rise Up America, a historical neighborhood preservation organization dedicated to safeguarding redlined communities.
